Economic Interest Information

The Economic Interest Disclosure Law (5 ILCS 420) requires the filing a statement of economic interest form at the office of the County Clerk each year by May 1st  by every elected or appointed official within a taxing body (including but not limited to Fire, Levee, Library, School, Township, City, Village, and County). Any person appointed after May 1st shall file a statement at the time of their appointment.

These are required to be filed each year while serving a term of office and with filing papers to be a candidate for election.
