The Pike County Highway Department is responsible for approximately 124 miles of hard surface road and 3 miles of gravel road. In a snow emergency the department runs the following snow routes:

CH-4 – Barry to Adams County Line

CH-2 – Griggsville to Valley City
CH-21 – Valley City to Chambersburg
CH-5 – Perry to CH-21
CH-19 – IL Route 2014 to Brown County line
CH-6 – Baylis to IL Route 104
CH-9 – CH-6 to Adams County line
Route #3 —
CH-1 – New Canton to CH-4
CH-4 – El Dara to Barry
CH-13 – IL Route 106 thru El Dara to IL Route 96
Route #4 —
CH-11 – Pittsfield to Pleasant Hill
CH-8 – CH-7 thru Time to Milton
CH-14 – Detroit to CH-2
Route #5 —
CH-7 – Pittsfield to Nebo
CH-10 – IL Route 100 thru Nebo to IL Route 96
Route #6 —
CH-57 – IL Route 96 to Adams County line
